Two things need our approval. Your money never does.
Making a fund, and a manager steering one, each need Blendfi to approve them before the chain will accept them. We check that a fund's coins can really be bought and sold, and that a trade is priced against the market. We approve one action at a time. We never hold money, never move money, and cannot reach yours.
1
You ask
The screen asks us to approve the exact action you are about to take, and only that one.
2
We check
That the coins can be bought and sold, and that a trade is priced against the market. If not, we refuse, and the screen says so.
3
The chain checks with us
An approval covers the one action you asked for and nothing else. It is deliberately short-lived, so if you leave the screen sitting you may be asked to try again.
4
Your money never needs one
Joining, leaving, claiming, locking and unlocking go straight to the chain. No approval, and nothing of ours in the way.
We approve one action at a time, and only these two. Making a fund and steering one need it. Joining, leaving, claiming, locking and unlocking never do, and nothing we run can hold them back.
