Questions people ask

Can the person running the fund take my money?
No. They can trade what the fund holds and they can take their share of the fee. They cannot touch your shares, they cannot stop you leaving, and no part of the platform can either.
Can I get out whenever I want?
Yes, in every kind of fund, at any time. Exits are never pausable. No manager, guardian or contract state can delay or block a withdrawal.
Does someone else joining make my slice smaller?
Your slice of the fund gets smaller and what it is worth does not change. Somebody joining brings assets in the same proportion the fund already holds and gets shares for exactly that. Nothing of yours moves to them.
Is the fee charged twice, once in and once out?
No. A fund charges one fee and it covers both coming in and going out again. What you pick on When you pay is how you settle it, not how much it is.
What is the 24 hours for?
A new coin is announced 24 hours before it can be added. Buying and selling what a fund already holds is instant.
Can a Fixed fund change?
The list of coins cannot, ever. The percentages do, because prices move and a Fixed fund never buys or sells to pull them back.
Do I need the platform token to use this?
No, and it does not make a fund any cheaper for you. Every backer pays the same printed rate whatever they hold. What holding it buys is a share of its trading fees, on Holders pot. Locking the same coins counts them for more in that pot, and for anyone running a fund it buys a larger share of what their own fund earns. The lock.
Do I have to lock the token to earn anything?
No. Holding at least 10,000 of it in your wallet earns on its own, every second, with nothing to sign up for, and you claim whenever you like. Locking those same coins counts them for more, with a bonus for the length of the term. Holders pot.
The fund I am in charges rent. What is being taken?
Not your shares. You keep every share you have, and what shrinks is how much of the fund one share is. It comes off every second rather than on a date, there is nothing to pay and nothing to miss, and the rate was fixed when the fund was made. The rent states all four.
What if one of the coins cannot be reached when I leave?
Your exit stops and tells you which coin, and you choose: wait, or exit without it. Exiting without it gives up your share of that one coin and pays every other coin as normal. A coin that can be read but will not move is different: it is set aside for you as a claim that never expires. Leaving.
Can I unlock the token early?
The principal comes back in full when the term ends, and not one second earlier. There is no early exit and no penalty option.
What does it cost to start a fund?
0.002 ETH, once, and nothing else. You choose how much to open it with, including nothing at all, though a fund with nothing in it is not open to anyone until you make that first deposit.
Is there a minimum to join a fund?
Not one we set. The only floor is arithmetic: a deposit small enough that your share of one of the coins rounds to nothing is refused, and the screen tells you before you sign anything.
What does the safety number mean?
It summarises what a fund holds, how long it has been running and how it has done, and whether a real linked manager runs it, as one figure out of 10 with a colour. One weak coin pulls it down on its own. It is a summary, never a promise. How safe it is has the whole of it.
What is the $10 figure beside a fund?
What $10 put in on the day the fund opened is worth now. Funds open at different share prices depending on what they were opened with, so that $10 story is the one figure you can compare by eye; a share's own price is on the fund page, beside it.
Why does a page sometimes show nothing where a number should be?
Because we do not know it. A figure with no source is shown as absent rather than as a zero or a stale value, on every screen, deliberately.
Where is the fine print?
The Terms of Use, the Privacy Policy and the Risk Disclosure. This page explains the product; those three are the agreement.
